Can you pay all payments from (1040V) online direct debit through one of the sites listed on IRS (ex: pay1040.com) and disregard the payment voucher?

I owe $502 total but I paid $15 to test the site

Do I need to pay $502 by check like it says on my payment voucher on turbo tax or since I paid $15 direct debit even though it doesn’t show on turbo tax account voucher  pay $487. I’m worried of not having it all in the same day.

No, Turbo Tax won’t know if, when or how you pay.  You need to keep track of it yourself.  The IRS doesn’t update Turbo Tax when they get a payment.  You can pay directly on tne IRS .  I think you can set up Direct Debit and not use a credit card to avoid the convenience fee.

Exactly how did you only pay $15?  You can’t make a partial payment on Turbo Tax.  Did you do it directly on the IRS website?  What payment voucher did you get?  Was it a 1040V of a 1040ES?

I used pay1040.com one of the sites listed on IRS I wanted to test if it would come out of account owed so I only did $15
My payment voucher (1040V) on turbo tax says $502 but I was told I can pay through direct debit (with convenice fees) but turbo tax doesn’t reflect what I owe minus the $15
