Can you file taxes while missing a w2 i have been waiting on my main w2 for months and i think its lost in the mail so should i be expecting an irs agent on my door
i worked at tacobell for 2 years and i havent received my w2 from them even though ive contacted them and since i dont work there i dont know what to do

you are supposed to inform IRS about this, but that may not possible given the IRS chaos.
OR request and extension of time to file, that gives you until Oct 15 to straighten it out.
