If for business returns you are referring to the Schedule C that is completed by someone who is a self-employed independent contractor, sole proprietor or single member LLC that has not incorporated, then the answer is Yes you can use the Self-Employed edition.  Schedule C is not a separate business tax return but is included with and part of your personal tax return, Form 1040.

However, if you are referring to business tax returns such as a Form 1065 for Partnerships and multi-member LLC's, Form 1120S for S Corporations, Form 1120 for C Corporations, then the Self-Employed edition cannot be used.

For those business tax returns you would have to use the the TurboTax Business Edition.  The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer, not on a Mac or online.  The Business Edition cannot be used to complete a personal tax return, Form 1040.

Only if your business is a sole-proprietorship or a single-member LLC using Schedule C.

All other business entities such as partnerships, S-Corps, or C-Corps must use TurboTax Business to create and file the tax returns.  Use the following link to learn more:  TurboTax Busines
