Can you explain why my CA FTB refund for 2023 was higher than calculated with Turbo Tax? Does CA FTB provide an explanation ?

They should send you a letter.  How much higher?  Did they add interest to your refund?  You may have entered some withholding wrong or missed entering an estimated payment or extension payment or entered it on the wrong line.
