Can you enter interest earned on a savings account manually. I do not want to upload the form or connect TURBO TAX to my bank. Thanks.

Yes, you can enter your 1099-INT Manually. Please follow the steps below:

 

1. Select Tax Home on the left side menu.
2. Select Income & Expenses on the main screen and then select "Work on other Income"
3. Scroll down, or expand the list and find Interest and Dividends.
4. Expand that section and find Interest on 1099-INT.
5. Click on Start to the right.
6. Answer the first question Yes.
7. Click Continue.
8. Click on Change how I enter my form in the lower right corner.
9. Select Type it in myself.
10. Then you can enter the information manually.
