Can Turbotax handle an individual's tax return for a Master Limited Partnership merger? If so, which version?

Turbotax Premier does not seem to handle information from a Master Limited Partnership K1 correctly and completely when the MLP shares have been sold as part of a merger.  Specifically, "ordinary gain" amounts due to the merger are not entered properly on the Federal Form 4797.

Turbotax Premier is the right product.  The issue with MLP handling has been going on for a while.  Here's an answer that covers the workaround for entering sales correctly:  https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3760966-how-i-report-the-sale-of-mlp-shares-in-turbo-tax-i-sold-al...

As for merger issues, what are you running into?  There may be another workaround for that.
