Can't Import 1099-R docs from Fidelity

I have Fidelity 401k distributions, and I want to import the tax 1099-R tax forms.  When importing, TurboTax shows two Fidelity sources:  Fidelity Investments and Fidelity NetBenefits.   If I choose Investments, the message says "it looks like you have no tax forms".  If I choose NetBenefits, I get a "maintenance notification from your import provider" and details of "Fidelity NetBenefits is not available for data import at this time".

 It is now well into tax return season.  I can log into Fidelity NetBenefits and see my tax documents so they are there.  Why can't I import these into TurboTax?

@rbknox25

Hard to know what's going on there.

Historically, Net benefits has never had the ability to import their1099-R forms.  Maybe they were attempting to star this year, but ran into some problem....

I've had to enter them manually for over 10 years...so instead of hitting your head against a brick wall.

Downlaod the PDF file in your Netbenefits account (if you haven't already done so)....and enter them manually.

....DO NOT attempt to upload the PDF or upload a picture of the document into TTX...too many people are getting scrambled forms that jsut lead to more frustration.

Thanks SteamTrain.  Thought maybe I was missing something as import has worked well with other institutions.  I suppose NetBenefits is more complicated in that it is often managing multiple companies’ 401ks.  Will do as you suggest.
