Price for your services said $49. Great, I thought! Received my refund and Turbo Tax had paid themselves $175!! Why do you lie to people?? You make it hard to find the price in the first place, then you take whatever you want out of my refund! I will never use Turbo Tax again! Disappointed customer.
If you used the TurboTax online editions the total price was shown to you when you went through the File section of the program in Step 1. Well, before you filed the tax return.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on View Order Details
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
