Can someone please explain this. 1095-A doesn’t allow 0.00 on column B but that’s what is on my document. Can’t move forward. Please help?

Yes. We can help with that.

It is possible for a 1095-A to be issued, but since the person does not qualify for any subsidy it will usually have

  • The full premium paid in Col A, and
  • Col B and Col C are blank.
  • TurboTax will not allow blanks in Col B.

To resolve this you can enter $0.01 any blank Col B spaces.

Column C can be left blank.

To do this take the following steps:

  1. Click Deductions and Credits
  2. Scroll down to Medical and Click Show More
  3. Click Start or Revisit next to the ACA
  4. As you walk through the questions, you will be asked if you received a 1095-A.
  5. Click YES
  6. Continue through to the end and submit your return.
  7. Enter $0.01 for Column B
