Can someone help me with AGI? This has never happened before but this year my gross income is the same as AGI. I'm not sure how to fix this or why it is like that.

Why do you think it should be different?  AGI is Adjusted Gross Income.  What adjustments do you have?  AGI is before the Standard Deduction (or Itemized Deductions).

And...what are you trying to do?   It is going to ask you for your 2021 AGI in order to e-file 2022.

Based on the last 20 years our AGI had always been about 25,000-35,000 less than gross.

This year it says 0. I am trying to understand how that would happen.

to see how AGI is calculated, examine page 1 of your Form 1040.

are you one of those who do not keep file copies of old tax returns?

You are probably mis-remembering how it works.
