TurboTax does not and cannot receive a stimulus payment from any taxpayer. Only the IRS has information on how and where a stimulus payment is being paid.

I have read that the stimulus payments were directed to the temporary accounts Turbo Tax created for those of us who paid extra to get the tax refund advance. The reason a lot of us haven’t received our stimulus checks is because whatever bank Turbo Tax uses, has yet to reject payments. So is the problem with green dot or turbo tax for not providing the irs with the correct banking info? Why wasn’t the irs provided with the account number issued through the turbo card?

The Issuer and Owner of the Turbo Visa® Debit Card affinity card is Green Dot Bank. How the advance, tax refund and stimulus payment is received on the debit card is wholly the responsibility of Green Dot Bank.
So the extra fee we paid to have turbo tax handle our funds was then directed to green dot, and sole responsibility lies on green dot then? Ok. A lot of people out here are struggling due to the mishandling of our account information on Turbo Tax and green dots part, and have not been able to receive stimulus due to this. Will never use TT again.
