Can not enter payment date of 10/16/2023. When can you fix this? As a tax payer living in the Santa Clara county, we can not use Turbotax to file tax return now!

Most Californians do not need to pay tax until 10/16/2023 this year because of the new relief from IRS for the Winter Storm disaster. But Turbotax does not allow me to enter the tax payment of date of 10/16/2023. Therefore I can not proceed from that point on in Turbotax to file my return now before you fix this problem before 4/18/2023!

I see that the lastest progress update on this issue was a month ago, same as non-committed as yours. Still no fix date, no help. We need it to be fixed now. If not, we have to file and pay before 4/18/2023 like a normal year if want to e-file with Turbotax or file with a paper return, but not paying until 10/16/2023 because after 4/18/23.  (6 month difference is big for people who owe tax to pay.)  In normal years, Turbotax does not allow to file normal return anymore after 4/18/2023 without having to go through filing extension process and fees. This is how I understand about this issue and status now. Please confirm!  

 

So far, as I see it, this has been a very poor management of such a important show-stopper issue on Turbotax part. I could not believe this can happen without a clear guidance or instructions from Turbotax on how all the people in California to proceed with current on-going filing.  The Turbotax current progress update on this issue is worse than the basic instruction I wrote above.

Can we have a fix in TurboTax Desktop that allows e-file with the payment date that is before 10/16/2023?

There are many people reporting this issue and it has been a month but there is NO fix from TurboTax side. Really sad to see a paid product hasn't been able to address this.
