Can l file my NY state tax return electronically via TurboTax? And if, how do I change the status from "Ready to Mail" to "E-filing"?

Yes, you can E-file your NY state tax return. If for some reason the state does not allow it for your return, the program will let you know. Please see the TurboTax FAQ's below for instructions:
