Can i use turbotax deluxe if i am self-employed but do not have expenses

I have self-employed income (no 1099-MISC), but it does not have any associated expenses. Do i need to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed, or will TurboTax Deluxe be sufficient for this?

No, you do not need to upgrade, and yes, Deluxe is sufficient for your situation.  TurboTax may ask you to upgrade, but it is only necessary to upgrade if you are going to enter expenses related to your 1099-MISC income.
