A 2023 return, which is a prior-year return, cannot be prepared in Online TurboTax, which is now only for 2024 returns.    To prepare a 2023 return using TurboTax would require the 2023 desktop product to install on your computer.   A 2023 return cannot be efiled with TurboTax; it would need to be printed, signed, dated, and postal mailed.
