No.  The TurboTax Free online edition is only for tax year 2022.

To complete and file a 2021 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2021 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2021 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

You cannot prepare a 2021 return with TurboTax.  You can check the internet to see if there is a place to file free or to file with TurboTax you would have to purchase their 2021 Download software

If you need to prepare a State return, check your State’s website.  Allot of States let you file for free if you qualify.

Sorry but the IRS FREE FILE does not allow you to file prior year returns ... currently it is only for the 2022 tax year.

Please note you can only file your current year tax return using IRS Free File. You cannot process a prior year return using IRS Free File.

Prior year returns can only be filed electronically by registered tax preparers for the two previous tax years. The IRS does not allow electronic filing for prior year returns through self-preparation websites. You must print, sign, and mail prior year returns. Our Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications can help you find preparers in your area who currently hold professional credentials recognized by the IRS, or who hold an Annual Filing Season Program Record of Completion. You can also check the professional organizations many tax preparers belong to.
