If your parents’ address is your preferred mailing address, use it. You can use any address that you wish on your tax return.
Keep in mind that if the IRS or your state department of revenue needed to contact you about your return, they would use the address on the tax return.

You can use a P.O. Box number only if your post office doesn't deliver mail to your home.

The address you enter in the "My Info" section is the address where you want the IRS to send any correspondence concerning that return. It does not have to be where you live, and it doesn't even have to be "your" address. Do note that if you request your refund be mailed to you via paper check, then that is the address where the IRS will mail the check to.
