Can I switch from form 1040 to 1040-SR using turbo tax?

I started my return on form 1040 but would like to switch to form 1040-SR because it gives me a better refund. How do I do this? Did not fine this form on turbo tax.

TT automatically puts you on the correct form.  And your refund shouldn't be different between the two, except that 1040-SR (Senior Citizen) is designed for folks Ages 65+.   So it is likely that you are doing something wrong along the way.

The Form 1040 and the Form 1040SR are

Exactly

the same form so you could not receive a different refund based on the 1040 or 1040SR.

The only difference is the 1040SR is that it uses a larger typeface and is for taxpayers age 65 or older.  If you are age 65 or older the Form 1040SR would be printed with your tax return.

Talking 2023.  I can't switch the final from the 'form' 1040 to a 1040-SR.  We are 'well over' 65; but, Turbo Tax used the 1040; I'd like to switch it.  It used the 'SR' the last 2 years.

The only difference is the size of the font.   If you are over 65, TurboTax will automatically include 1040-SR.  @Schmidt05

TurboTax will print  as 1040SR if you are over age 65.

@Schmidt05

Using the TurboTax desktop editions, click on Forms.

With the Federal Information Worksheet opened, in Part II of the Worksheet, check the box - Yes Print Form 1040-SR instead of Form 1040

The 1040SR is EXACTLY the same as the regular 1040 just bigger type so it prints on 3 pages instead of 2.  They both use the same instructions and tax calculations

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040gi.pdf

When you print it will print on the 1040SR even if you see only the 1040 on the screen.  You automatically get the 1040SR if you or your spouse is 65 or older.  In the Desktop program you can tell it which one to print.

If you use the Desktop program you can switch to forms and the Info Wks part II has a selection to select 1040SR or not.  You can not change it in the Online versions.   In the Online version if you want to use the regular 1040 form, you can print out the 1040SR and copy the amounts onto a blank 1040 and then mail your return.
