Yes.  You can even still efile until Oct 16.  You have 3 years to file for a refund.

But you said you filed? Did you efile it?  What do you need to mail?

If you can help me figure out if I still can get my money or not that would be wonderful.

Go through the File tab, through the 3 steps all the way to the end and hit the Transmit Returns Now button.  Then watch for 2 emails.  The first one only confirms you submitted it.  The second email says if the IRS accepted it or rejected it.

When i sign in it says welcome back then says federal return ready to mail and IL return ready to mail and then gives me mailing options.

You have posted on a year old thread.  Please start a new question.  Why can’t you efile?  Any error message or code?  Is your efile rejecting?

For 2017 returns.  The final efile deadline is Monday Oct. 15, 2018 at 11:59pm your time zone.
After today you will have to print and mail it.  You might have to switch to the Desktop program to continue and finish.  If you are getting a refund there is no penalty for filing late.  You have 3 years to file for a refund.  If you have a tax due the payment was actually due on April 18.  So you will get a bill from the IRS for any interest depending on when they get your payment.

If your efile rejects you have until Oct 20 to fix it and refile or print and mail it.

If you don’t e-file by 11:59pm tonight you will not be able to do so after today. If the return is complete, you will be able to print the return to mail it by going to My Tax Home, or My Docs.

It just says federal tax return ready to mail and IL tax return ready to mail then gives me mail option or efile option.

Then do the mail option and print and mail it.  Did you try those instructions for how to mail?  Where do you get stuck?
