Can I still file married jointly even if my husband is filling a return for his business

My husband owns a business he is filling under his business name.

If your husband's business is set-up as a sole proprietor, he would be filing a Schedule C with his return, either Married Filing Jointly with you, or Married Filing Separately.

But if his business is filing in the business name, it makes me think that it may be an LLC (Limited Liability Company) or some other entity. If that is the case, the business files and you and your husband ALSO file, either as Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Separately.
