Can I round up my W-2 from 18 cents to a dollar so I can e-file? My old job that I quit in Nov 2022 apparently paid me 18 cents in 2023.

I'm worried that if I have to print and mail, it's going to be postmarked late because I didn't know this would happen. We are getting a refund, no taxes due.

Yes, you can make changes of less than a dollar to an entry if necessary in order to e-file. In the alternative, in this case, you could opt not to include the W-2 in your return.

What are the repercussions if I don't include it? I want to be honest about it, not trying to get away with anything.

The IRS allows rounding up or down.  If you round down to zero, it is unlikely the IRS will notice or care.

Nothing.   If it is 18 cent, leave it out.
