Can I read my .tax2011 file?

TurboTax and the IRS only save returns for seven years.   

The 2011 tax data file can only be opened by the TurboTax software for tax year 2011.

TurboTax does not support tax year 2011.

It is available on Amazon but there are no guarantees that you will be able to get any program updates or a state tax return using the 2011 software.

OR you could try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at

They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth.  They are not related to Turbo Tax.
