Can I pay filing fees before return is complete to get early bird discount in 2024?

Can I pay filing fees before return is complete to get early bird discount before 2/29 and file return in March?

Yes, you can do that.

 

The easiest way is to pay your fees through the Print Center:

 

  1. Open your return.
  2. Select Tax Tools from the left-side menu, then Print Center.
  3. Select Print, save or preview this year's return at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Pay Now on the next screen.
