can i pay estimated taxes for 2023 in 2024 ?

After i did my math for 2023 tax return , i owe 20K to irs .. can i pay estimated taxes for 2023  my logging into IRS today ( jan 29th 2024 ) to avoid penalty ? I am on W2

It's too late to pay estimated taxes for tax year 2023.

 

Any amount of estimated tax paid after January 15, 2024 is considered paid on April 15, 2024.
