Can I leave state ID blank on my W2 that reads, "State ID applied for"?

Filing SC taxes while working remotely through a Oregon company

Yes, you can leave it blank however if TurboTax gives you an error, enter the Employer Identification Number (EIN or FEIN) located in Box b of your W-2.
