Can I leave out a w 2 on my return?

I have 5 W-2s this year from employment. I wanted to know if I can leave out one. The one I will leave out I would have made about $300. I will not owe any money to the IRS. Would I get audited if I leave out the W-2 or have a problem.

The W-2 smelled?  Go photocopy it, and throw out the original.

You can't just willy-nilly leave out a W-2.  The IRS has a matching program that will notice that.  Assuming that there's any taxes withheld on that W-2 and if you're getting a refund anyway, you need to enter that W-2 in order to get that W-2's withheld taxes included in your refund.

But why are you asking from TT self-employed?  Do you really mean a 1099-MISC?

You must report all of them.
