Yes, you should be able to import your Form 1099 from Charles Schwab; however, the brokerage will most likely not have the forms available until early February.
You can check out the TurboTax FAQ below for more information about how to import Form 1099: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3389470

I followed these exact steps and was not able to import from Schwab. Do I need to wait until feb15 to do this?
I contacted schwab and they said that this functionality will be enabled closer to 2/15
even on 2/15, it complains - No 1099 data available online for this Login ID -- fyi, all documents available on my a/c
2/14 not working. 2/15 around 5pm ET working --> successful import to TT.
2/16 not working. TT complains that there isn't any tax related info to import. However it is available, I have manually downloaded the data from schwab as pdf and csv. Can I import the downloads somehow?
I was able to import from Schwab yesterday. You should be able to now as well.

I confirmed the Charles Schwab download of several of my accounts to be complete and accurate after the Turbo Tax "declared" date of availability ie. February 15, 2019
The problem I was having was that I was logged on to my previous year download file Turbotax 2016..No wonder I couldnt get download til I got on Turbotax 2018.
its not working for me and also, export option also not available with charles schwab- seems that could be the reason to fail from TT.
I don't even have Charles Schwab as an available financial institution to choose from - 2/24

Third-Party Access to Account Information

Enable Third-Party Access
You are enabling access to your account information through this channel (OFX protocol). Access will be enabled with your login ID and password alone, even if you have activated a token or other two-factor authentication method. If you share your credentials with any third-party to access your account information, their activities in your account will be considered authorized.
Disable Third-Party Access
Once I enabled this is Schwab it worked. Intuit should have that suggestion in their software when it fails for Schwab. The nebulous error message is lazy and useless.
OK, I read this thread, enabled third party access on Schwab, but my TT (2018 Premier, home desktop version, NOT online) doesn't even list Schwab on the "Search for Your Financial Institution" page. Hm...
OK, then I updated my TT software, and it works now. Sorry for the false alarm.
Where is the import option?? It's not showing up for me.

I had an issue with the sign-in process to the Schwab website for my 2019 return. I kept getting errors regarding my username or password.
My password has spaces in it and I finally noticed that when I hit the space bar when trying to enter the password, no character was being entered in the password box. I went to the Schwab website and changed my password to one with no spaces and was then able to sign in through Turbotax.
