Can i finish and file on April 16

can i finish filling Tuesday April 16th without getting a penalty

If you do not owe, there will not be a penalty.  If you think you do owe, file an extension to avoid the late filing fee if you can't finish now.  You still may face penalties and interest for not paying on time, however.
