Your 5-digit e-filing PIN is on page 4 of the Federal Information Worksheet for your 2023 tax return. The Federal Information Worksheet is in the PDF of your tax return that includes government and TurboTax worksheets. How do I view, download, or print a prior-year tax return?
If you are looking for a 6-digit IP PIN, you can no longer use your 2023 IP PIN. For any tax return that you file in 2025, you use the IP PIN that you received in January 2025, no matter what year the tax return is for. If you don't have your current IP PIN you can retrieve it from the Profile page in your IRS online account. Go to the following link for more information.
