Can I file

My fiancé claimed me on his tax return but I also worked for 10 months or so last year. Can I also file my own taxes? When he claimed me on his return we only got his 1200 for stimulus I did not receive one. Please help me on this. I don’t know what to do, if I should just file my own taxes or what.

If you had gross income in 2019 of $4,200 or more then no one could have claimed you as a dependent.

Otherwise, if you are being claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return then you are not eligible for a stimulus payment.
