I am HOH. I filed my tax returns as well as my two sons filed their own tax returns. My e-file was rejected by the IRS and CA. The reason of rejection was on my two sons' 1040, page 1, I omitted to check mark on "Someone can claim: You as a dependent". I amended my two sons' 1040 to correct this. My sons' Amended returns were accepted. I transmitted the e-file again but it was rejected for the same reason. What should I do. Can I paper file my 1040?
