can I file my taxes without clicking the Continue button, agreeing to the terms and conditions of max benefits. I don't want to use Max benefits after all?

Do NOT agree to it if you don't want it.   If it's in your order, you have to remove it before filing.  If you haven't already paid, you can remove MAX.  Here's how:

You appear to be using Live Deluxe (at least that's what is shown under your question.)   The LIVE products are not free.   That Live feature is an upgrade from regular Deluxe and adds a consider amount to one's fee.    The LIVE products include at-will help from a tax expert during routine preparation and if desired, a review of your return prior to filing.    If you don't want it and haven't used it, you may be able to remove the Live product, and go back to regular Deluxe.

Also be aware that if you choose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, there is an extra $40 service fee for that payment option ($45 for California filers.)   That fee can be avoided by paying upfront with credit/debit card.
