What do you mean more than one tax?  Like for different people or for more tax forms like your W2s and 1099s?  You can only file one tax return and must report all your income on Your tax return.  You can start a Turbo Tax Return and log in again later to finish it.  You don’t have to have all your forms entered at one time.  You can come back later and finish and file.  But don’t file it until you have entered everything.

I worked 2 jobs in 2017 and got W-2's for both but only one came in the mail and the other hasn't arrived

I was wondering if I can file one w-2 then the other once it arrives or do I have to wait for both to file both?

You have to wait.  You must report all your income on one tax return.  You can only file 1 return.  The IRS gets copies of all the W2s from your employers and will be expecting to see all your W2s and 1099s on your return or they will send you a nasty letter saying you didn’t report it.

Oh got it! Okay, then I'll be sure to get everything in  to file all at one time... Thank you so much!

One other question...

I know I'll be home in the Pacific Islands next year so I was wondering if can file this year's returns from another country or do I have to be present within the U.S by next year?

TurboTax Online can only prepare and e-file one federal return and up to five state returns per UserID. To file a return for someone else, you must create a new UserID for that person. You may create a new login (up to 5) tied to your same email address if you'd like.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, first save what you're currently working on by clicking File > Save As. Then, to start a new tax file, click File > New Tax Return.

To create a new account for TurboTax Online, please see this TurboTax FAQ:

You can file one W-2, but would have to amend  if you got it after submitting your federal return. You always want to submit your income together as it may impact your return or even worse cause an audit or penalty.

No. If you worked both jobs in the same year, you must combine them and file a tax return that shows all of the income earned in the calendar year.  If you filed only one, you can add the other by filing an amended tax return on Form 1040X.  To learn more about amended tax returns see: How to File an Amended Tax Return with TurboTax

I want to file taxes for a different person.  With the DVD can file up to 5 tax returns.  My grandson filed and now I want to do my taxes but cannot get a new file started.

@mebess If you are using the CD/download you just need to open your program ----from your own hard drive--not by "logging in" -- and go up to the top left corner to the word File---click on New Return to start a return for another person.
