Can I file more than 1 persons tax return using my purchased copy of turbotax

I bought turbotax premier. I just filed my taxes electronically for the first time.

Now I need to do my daughters taxes. She has no inncome and away in college and I have file for her 1099Q and 1098-T forms. We had a CPA do them last year so I know I have to file.

Can I log into my laptop version (not on line version) under my acct and create a new tax return for her ....or do I need to buy another version to do her taxes?

I've read many similar questions but they are usually about putting the software on another laptop.

Yes.  If you have the Desktop program you can do unlimited returns and efile 5.  Just go up to File - New Tax Return.  You don't go to an "account".  Sounds like you might accidentally be in the Online version.  That happens a lot.  Did you get the program installed and activated with the 16 digit License Code?

The Desktop program has the menu tabs going across the top.

The Online version has the menu in a black bar going down the left side.

If you use TurboTax Desktop, you can e-file five federal returns with up to three state returns each.
