Can I file jointly with my husband if he has a w2 and I worked from home, but not enough to have a 1099?

My husband got a w2 from his job, and I worked from home, but didn't make enough to get a 1099. Can I file jointly with him? If so, which turbotax do i use?

Yes, you can and should file jointly as it is the most beneficial filing status for married taxpayers. The fact that you have very low income will help your husband's income (while file jointly) to be reduced by 'joint' deductions, which may increase your refund/ lower your tax liability.

As to which version you should use - If you are reporting self-employed income and expenses, our self-employed version handles that... you can always start with the lower versions, though. The program will ask to upgrade if it is necessary.
