IMPORTANT!!!! If you will be unable to file before the extension deadline, PLEASE save your .tax2016 file (tax data file) to your computer before shutdown. That way, you'll have the data saved on your computer so that you can still file by mail during the TT shutdown period. See instructions for saving your tax data file, linked below.
