Can I enter two addresses for married filing jointly? I don't live with my husband.

My husband and I are going to file jointly for the first time. We've filed separately before. We live in separate apartments, one block away from each other, and we share expenses. Can I use both addresses on my tax filing?

No. There's only room for one address on a tax return. Any notices or other mail from the IRS or the state will go to that address.

decide who will be Taxpayer and who will be Spouse.

I hope you don't fight over it.

IRS does not like you to change the order once you have filed Jointly.

Not to mention, TurboTax gets confused if you try to do that.
