can I enter the residency information for nra spouse?

The Turbotax questionnaire only asked me for my residency information in California and not that of my nra spouse. However, when I printed my tax form the dates I had entered for myself also appeared under the "spouse" section. My spouse has never lived in California. I have had to edit these dates manually on the PDF before filing by mail. Is this a bug?

You should have seen the questions regarding the California residency status for your wife in the state section of TurboTax.  You may want to go back and double-check your entries carefully.  (There are so many similar screens you may have missed it).

Hi, thanks for your reply. I reviewed the screens again but still don't see anything pertaining to spouse. Also, I am filing married separately - not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Yes, if you are filing separate, it will not ask for the information. @neill

Great and thanks. How do we raise this as a bug and get it fixed?
