Can I deactivate Turbotax on one computer and activate on a different computer. If so, how. I don't want to waste one of my 5 activations.

Turbotax H&B 2019.  Windows.  CD install.

No  you cannot deactivate a program to get the activation back   ...  you have the ability to install and activate the program on up to 5 computers that  you own (do you own more than 5 ?) .

You also can efile up to 5 tax returns no matter how many computers you use.

These 2 different "5" limits have nothing to do with one another.

It's kind of dumb. If you use your 5 activations and your computer crashes, you're screwed. Played by the rules but they're dumb rules. So then what, drop another $60 on Turbotax? Spare me.
