My son graduated in 6/2017 from high school. Then started a full time job in July-nov 2017. Can I claim him as a dependent? When he does his own taxes what does he do?

Assuming he was under 24 and that you paid the majority of his support and that he lived with you at least six months in 2017, then you can claim him.  When he files a return, he needs to indicate that someone else can claim him.
