Can i claim my daughter as dependent if she made $6695 on Federal but nothing on State for 2017? She's a full time student, 19yo. Confuse if she still have to file?

If i claim my daughter who is 19yo, full time student would she need to file for her taxes?

If she was a full-time student and under age 24, you can claim him as a dependent as long as she did not provide more than half of her support.

She will still have to file a federal return on her own but make sure she states she is being claimed as a dependent on another return.

How does she make "nothing" on state but has $6695 federal income? That's unlikely.
