Can I check any numbers eg AGI or Schedule B before I pay for TT using downloaded version?

Yes you can review your return before filing it. While in TurboTax use the following steps:

Select Tax Tools on the left hand side of your screen,
Select Tools,
Select View Tax Summary,
On the left hand side of your screen you will see Preview my 1040,
Select.
