Can I change my payment method for my payment plan on owed taxes after filing?

I owed taxes and set up a payment plan for paying them off, but need to switch it to pulling money from a different account.

Yes, but not through TurboTax.  You will need to contact the IRS directly to make any changes to an establishment payment agreement.  Some changes you can make directly online in your account, but note that you will need to call them if you have to make changes to a direct debit agreement.

Hi All!

I have filed the 2019 Federal Tax with Turbo Tax and signed for payment via cheque/money order. I want to pay with the debit/credit card now. Should I contact  IRS in this case? The advice above does not answer this question since it is regarding the necessity to contact IRS if one wants to change the establish direct withdraw from an account.

Thank you
