Can I change my filing status from married filing jointly to married filing separate? If so how can I do that?

If you have not filed the 2024 tax return, in the My Info section of the program you will need to edit your personal information to change your filing status.

If you live in a community property state, Please review the TurboTax Help article Married Filing Separately in community property states. me states have rules about how married couples share income if filing Married Filing Separately.
