Can I be claimed as a dependent since I received unemployment and my w2 box 1 has earnings of $4698? Or does that amount disqualify me from being claimed?

Girlfriend did pay for more than half of all living expenses and was for there for entire year, only question is in regards to unemployment and income.

Yes, your earnings disqualifies you as being a dependent.

Since your gross income is $4,300 or more in 2021 then no one can claim you as a dependent if you are age 19 or older and not a full time student.

Unemployment compensation is taxable income and is included as gross income.

No, your total income (unemployment plus the $4698 wages) is too high for you to ne her Dependent.
