Can I ask TurboTax to clear my financial account credentials?

If I login to my accounts (e.g., stock broker, bank etc.) to import my 1099s, TurboTax says it securely stores my account credentials. But can I ask TurboTax to delete all my account info once my taxes are prepared?

Thanks,

Turbo Tax does not store the login credentials for the accounts you import. We just keep the connection secure while the import is occurring.

Thanks, but I am confused with this statement in turbotax

We’ll securely store your financial account’s sign-in details and automatically import your tax forms.

We apologize for any confusion. We just like to ensure we let our customers know the data is securely stored within Turbo Tax during the transmission and import.

I want to use a second ID for more documents and it won't ask. It goes straight to asking for account and document ID. I did finally get it to import other but not sure where it got the conditionals from.

I am having the same problem. Been using TurboTax online for decades and before this year you could login to more than once account at a brokerage firm or bank. This year, the login window to the given firm opens in a separate window where you enter the credentials.

The problem is, I also have more than one user account at an institution that I need to import forms from, but I can't get TurboTax to "forget" or let me enter different credentials. It would take hours to enter this information manually, so it's a real show-stopper.

Please provide information/steps on how to "disconnect" from a previously used account at a given institution so that new/different credentials can be used. Thank you.

If you have a single broker for multiple accounts, when selecting to add another account for the same broker: Clear cookies and then search for your broker via the search bar rather than clicking the broker icon. This should allow the screen to input account information and import the data.
