Can anyone help me with the issue with the 'explain my taxes' feature? It returns an 'oops, we are working on that feature'. Is anyone else having this issue?

Try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. Review the TurboTax Help article How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for specific instructions for your browser.  Also, reboot your computer.

Thanks for the pointers.

I cleared the cache and cookies and restarted the computer and still get this message:

 
"Oof! We've hit a speed bump.
We are working on a fix, but it might take a bit. Check back later when we're ready to roll."

Yes, this issue has been reported.  As an alternative:

 

Go to Tools > Tax Tools in the left-side menu.

 

On the 'Tools Center' pop-up, choose 'View Tax Summary'.

 

Then, back at the left-side menu, choose either 'Preview my 1040' or '(State) Tax Summary'.
