Yes, the Injured Spouse Allocation, Form 8379 can be paid through Direct Deposit only if you E-File the form with your Tax Return. If you send it in the mail after you have filed, you will most likely receive a paper check in the mail.

It's been 22 weeks and they keep telling me to  check back in two more weeks because they have to decide if they will take any of my taxes refund to off set my husband taxes he owe even though he owed them before we were married. I was told that I  was appointed for my refund amount. Is this normal ?
