can 1040 for 2021 be e-filed if using the Safe Harbor option?

can 1040 for 2021 be e-filed if using the Safe Harbor option? (Previous years' tax returns filing with Safe Harbor option had to be filed with hard copy, i.e., by Post Office mailing.
