CA tax - get "Form 3510: Line 28 must be entered" same error as in 2021

When filing my CA tax I get this error message:

"Form 3510: Line 28 must be entered" which is the same as I got in 2021. For me, the amount that goes into line 28 is 0 but I can not enter it. It has to come from the 2022 CA carryover worksheet. I think TT should be pulling the information over from my 2021 Schedule P but like last year it didn't. To manually fix this I did the following

copied 2021 Schedule P Part I Line 15 - 18 (only 15 had anything for me) to 2022 CA Carryover Worksheet Line 15a

copied 2021 Schedule P Part I Line 1-7, 13b, 13i  (0 for me) to 2022 CA Carryover Worksheet Line 15b

copied 2021 Schedule P Part II Line 25 to 2022 CA Carryover Worksheet Line 15c

copied 2021 Schedule P Part II Line 26 to 2022 CA Carryover Worksheet Line 15d

copied 2021 Schedule P Part III Line 22 & 23 column b (blank for me) to 2022 CA Carryover Worksheet Line 15e

And that got me past the error.   Why hasn't TT fixed this bug yet?

Please review the answer here by  @TerryA , as this gives a better explanation of how to do this.

This is obviously a bug. Is there an estimate on when it will be fixed? Seems like the user should not have to manually perform this.
